The Customer
Transvac are a world-leading supplier of Ejector Solutions with innovation and sustainability at the heart of everything they do. They aim to continually develop world-class technologies that are maintenance-free, require low (or no) energy and produce zero emissions, helping protect the local environment and supporting environmentally conscious companies and their engineers.
The Challenge
Transvac needed a mobile, self-contained solution for dosing Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) at water treatment works. The system had to be secure, compact, vandal-resistant, and easy to relocate between sites as needed. Additionally, the equipment inside required good access for installation and ongoing maintenance. Traditional construction methods required extensive groundwork and were less flexible, making them less efficient for rapid deployment or emergency site changes.
The Solution
We supplied Transvac with a sustainable solution using a 20ft container painted in their branded green RAL colour. Originally using single side-opening containers, Transvac evolved their design to incorporate double end-openings, significantly improving accessibility for installation and maintenance. The internal layout includes a stud wall, making end-to-end access essential. By housing the full PAC dosing system inside a custom-converted container, Transvac gained a secure, mobile, plug-and-play solution that can be rapidly deployed and repositioned, demonstrating the adaptability and design expertise of the S Jones Conversions team.
